Ben Krimmel

A writer, editor, and content producer with several years of experience in digital media production, storytelling, and connecting with audiences. Based in New York, I currently cover local sports for SNY and Washington D.C. sports for Audacy’s 106.7 The Fan and The Team 980 as well as U.S. military and veterans issues for Audacy’s Connecting Vets.

Previously an Assistant Editor at RealClear Media Group’s RealClearSports, my written work has appeared on Liverpool.com, USA TODAY, PressBox Baltimore, the Baltimore City Paper, and on ESPN’s Around the Horn. My experience began working on the digital desk at a leading national newspaper, editing video as a member of the production staff for a nationally televised sports program, and fact-checking for two Baltimore publications

Graduated from George Washington University where I wrote general issue columns and covered the GW men’s basketball team as a sports columnist for the independent student newspaper The GW Hatchet.

A firm believer in the restorative powers of an afternoon sandwich and that “it is really the life of kings.”
